Production kicks off early next year.
It was rumoured during the summer and now it’s officially been confirmed that House of Cards director James Foley will take over directing the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels.
Foley will replace Sam Taylor-Johnson who directed the first instalment of the hugely popular movie last year.
Foley has previously directed Glengarry Glen Rose, Fear and Perfect Stranger.
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are both on board to return as Ana and Christian in the sequels and according to Variety, the two movies will be shot back-to-back with production starting in early 2016.
Fifty Shades Darker is due for release on February 10th, 2017, with Fifty Shades Freed scheduled for February 9th, 2018.
