We can’t wait.
The Great British Bake Off as we know it is basically gone for good, so the Christmas special is more important than ever.
This may be the last time BBC broadcasts the Bake Off we love with all Paul, Mary, Mel and Sue all together in the tent.

There will be two episodes of the special coming this festive season. One episode will air on Christmas day at 4.45 and the other will air on St. Stephen’s Day at 7pm.
We’re most excited about seeing some of our favourites back in the kitchen so we were intrigued to see who exactly was coming back.
One of the specials will feature 2014 semi-finalist Chetna Makan, 2013’s Howard Middleton and James Morton and Janet Basu from season 2.
On the second special Ali Imdad from the 2013 series, Cat Dresser from 2012, Mary-Anne Boermans from 2011 and Norman Calder from season 5 will all feature.
We can’t wait to see what Christmas treats the gang make.
