They're GLORIOUS!

Despite a rocky lead-up to the show, it seems the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show went down spectacularly again this year. Pictures have been emerging from this year’s VS Show and it looks just as magical as we’d expected. Longtime Victoria’s Secret Angels like Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge returned to one of the most famous runways earlier today and this year were joined by a whole host of new faces. This is the 22nd year of one of fashions biggest nights and it was held in the impressive Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai earlier today.

Bella Hadid was one of the models to earn her wings this year after making her first VS appearance at last year’s show. Alessandra Ambrosio was another notable angel during this year’s show as many suspect this to be her last year. The model first joined the Victoria’s Secret ranks back in 2000, but it is rumoured that after 17 years she’s ready to hang up her wings. Candice Swanepoel returned to the catwalk after welcoming her first child in October of last year. The model cheered on her fellow angels from her home in US last year, however, made her welcomed return earlier today.

One of the most talked about aspects of the show is the incredible Fantasy Bra. Not found in any of the Victoria’s Secret retailers, this jewel-encrusted bra is said to cost upwards of $2 million. This year, the honour of wearing the bra went to 27-year-old Lais Ribeiro. Ribeiro now joins the likes of Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima, who've all worn a Fantasy Bra in their time as a Victoria's Secret Angel.

There were musical performances on the night from Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr., and Jane Zhang. It had been rumoured that Katy Perry was due to perform, however, reports say problems entering the country prevented her from doing so. Gigi Hadid was also prevented from entering the country, however, was cheering on her co-workers from her home.

"I’m so bummed I won’t be able to make it to China this year," Gigi said on Twitter. "Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit! "Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year!"
