We know it’s only Wednesday, but some of us are already looking forward to a weekend Netflix binge in clothes with elasticated waistbands and a very lengthy Chinese order.

It’s the start of May, and Netflix have a whole bunch of great new shows going live, so you’ll be spoilt for choice this weekend when it comes to what you want to feast your eyes on.

Grace and Frankie was a massive hit last year, and the second season will be available on Friday, May 6th. Starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the titular characters whose husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other.

The second season revolves around how the two women, their ex-husbands, and their families cope with the changed dynamic and learn that it’s not all golden in your golden years.

Marseille is a Netflix Original which is due to premiere on May 5th. It centres on Robert Taro, the French city’s mayor who wants to push through a vote for a casino to be built in the centre of the Marina.

His successor Lucas Barrés is already designated, but the latter has a thirst for power which will make this race for mayor potentially deadly. This crime thriller stars French icon Gerárd Depardieu as Robert Taro.
