There were many reasons audiences fell in love with the Bodyguard, the love story, that Kevin Costner performance, the scene with the scarf, but arguably, mainly because of that amazing soundtrack. Of course, casting Houston was a stroke of genius. I Will Always Love You was not just a song for the film, it became an anthem, spending an amazing amount of time in the number one spot on the charts.

But The Bodyguard had a lot more going for it. Even though it was exceptional cheese, many found it was a film they could return to over and over again without any great difficulty.
