The headline act has been announced for the 2FM Xmas Ball

2FM are returning with their 2fm Xmas Ball, in aid of ISPCC, on December 19th at 3Arena. Following the success of last year’s event, which raised over €460,000, they're upping their game and have confirmed that The Script will headline the concert. Also performing on the night will be The Coronas, Gavin James, Hudson Taylor and Wild Youth, with other special guests yet to be announced. Following the same structure as last year, the concert will be hosted by all 2FM presenters Nicky Byrne & Jenny Greene, Eoghan McDermott, Bernard O’Shea, Jennifer Zamparelli and Keith Walsh and Tracy Clifford. All parties involved with the 2FM Xmas Ball are providing their services free of charge on the night including artists, organisers and 3Arena. The complete funding of the concert goes towards the financial support and aid of the 24-hour phone-line and the ISPCC services dedicated to helping children. Tickets, priced at €39.50, go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 10th, from the usual Ticketmaster outlets. Commenting on the news, Head of 2FM Dan Healy said:

Judging by the amount of texts we are receiving from our listeners regarding this year's ball, I am certain we'll again raise a huge amount of money for a cause that is close to all our hearts at 2FM. This year's line up is another great showcase of top Irish music talent, all of whom are great live performers. It’ll be great to be back in the 3Arena working with Caroline Downey and her team at the ISPCC and I can’t wait for the 19th of December."
