Is this why we haven’t seen Meghan at Pippa’s wedding?

We were all watching and waiting this morning as the guests descended on St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire for Pippa Middleton's wedding to James Matthews.

But one famous face failed to make an appearance - Meghan Markle. The actress had been invited to the nuptials but was nowhere to be seen as her boyfriend Prince Harry made his way to the church with Prince William. Well there's one theory as to why she's missing. She might have skipped the ceremony and gone straight to the reception, as per royal protocol. Even though Pippa is the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, her wedding is not a royal event and it is against royal protocol for members of the royal family to upstage proceedings, according to Cosmopolitan. It could be that Meghan avoided the ceremony as her much-anticipated presence might have taken away from Pippa on her big day. Here's hoping she pops up later in the day - we're dying to see what she's wearing.
