There is a Harry Potter convention coming to Ireland

Harry Potter fans, clear your schedule at the end of August because you won't want to miss this.

Leaky Con, which is described as an immersive Harry Potter fan event, is coming to Dublin from August 31st to September 3rd. So far they have secured four Harry Potter stars to appear including our very own Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), along with Katie Leung (Cho Chang) and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (young Tom Riddle).

Leaky Con also states on the website that there's more to come:

"We are working to bring you a spectacular lineup of actors, artists, musicians, writers, and creative minds who have helped make the Harry Potter fandom what it is today."

They are advising that only children over the age of 11 are allowed to enter and that anyone under the age of 18 that isn't accompanied by a parent must have a signed permission form. Leaky Con will take place at City West Hotel, just outside Dublin City and prices are broken down according to levels of experience, ranging from day passes to the full VIP experience.
