‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ will be released as a script at midnight, and fans are losing it

Potter, more.

Her

Potter fans won’t be getting much sleep tonight.

The script for Harry Potter And The Cursed Child – the stage play currently slaying audiences in London’s West End – is being released around the world at midnight tonight (or tomorrow, if you want to be pernickety about it). It will be released as an e-book and hard copy.

The timing is not accidental: tomorrow, July 31, is Harry Potter’s birthday, as well as JK Rowling’s.

However, Rowling isn’t the author of the work, though she did collaborate with its actual writers, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany.

That’s not dampening fans’ excitement, however. As happened with the release of all the other Potter stories, there are book release parties planned all over the world.
