Hannah Murray has been chatting about the possibility of a Skins reunion

She’s not mad on the idea, now.

Skins was a good show.

Like, really good.

It had everything you could possibly want from a series for an audience of pre-teens who had never so much as glanced at a boy never mind rode one in the backroom of a gaff party in the middle of exam season.

It was raw, it was dirty, and it was quite sad at times too.

It has also spouted a considerable amount of acting talent in the form of Dev Patel, Nicholas Holt, Joe Dempsie, Kaya Scodelario and, of course, Hannah Murray.

Going on to play the heartbreakingly tragic Gilly on Game of Thrones, Murray has moved as far away from the show as she possibly could (along with Joe Dempsie, who went on to play Gendry in the HBO series).

But it’s not GoT that we’re here to discuss, it’s Skins – and the potential for a reunion that honestly isn’t happening any time soon but hey look, we can dream.

Cosmopolitan are clearly on the same page as us as they decided to go ahead and just ask Murray whether we’d ever see Cassie and the rest of the lads on our screens again.

The answer was, unfortunately, a bit of no.

“We joke about people talking about Game Of Thrones being a Skins reunion, because we see each other every day, because we’re like best friends,” she said.

“We did the Skins FirePure and Rise in 2013 where me, Kaya Scodelario and Jack O’Connell came back. And the idea was that that was the end.

“I felt like going back then was a big deal, and I wouldn’t want to keep returning to that character.”

Fair enough, like.

We respect your decision, Hannah. We do.
