Grey’s Anatomy would have been nothing without these five characters

We have to say we really miss Grey's Anatomy and we miss all our favourite characters even more. Sure there were times when the show left us crying in pieces on the sofa but we still loved it regardless. Well, the good news is that we can now catch up with the doctors and nurses of Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital from series 1-11 exclusively on Sky Box Sets. Here's our definitive ranking of our 5 favourite characters in the show (they might not be who you would automatically expect). 5. Addison Montgomery Okay. okay, hear me out on this one. Most people turned against Addison from the start because she began to get in the way of Meredith and Derek's relationship but really she was a victim in the whole fiasco. She's one of the fiercest and most honest female charatcers in the show. You can say what you want about her but the woman was hilarious. Character high point: Addison's first moment on the show is still by far my favourite. All that sass... via GIPHY 4. Alex Karev He was the underdog from season one. Alex started out on the show as a bit of a dickhead. He was the selfish intern with a bad attitude, but throughout the 12 series we see him evolve into the unbelievable doctor and heartthrob that he is. Not only does he become a wonderful friend to both Cristina and Meredith he is a fantastic pediatrician and spends his days taking care of tiny babies. Sure how more lovely could you get? Character high point: When he helped save a newborn baby with his own body heat. Actually, anytime he was around a kid was pretty cute. 3. Callie Torres Callie is a champion for all of us. Not only did she always have faith in herself, she didn't mind bragging about what an amazing surgeon she was either. She was always totally honest about her sexuality and didn't give a damn what anyone thought about it. Callie went through a lot throughout the 12 series but always kept laughing.  She will always be the queen of dancing in her underwear. via GIPHY Character high point: When she attempted to tell Miranda that she had a new lady friend. 2. Miranda Bailey The sassiest in all the land. Who doesn't love Miranda? She was the one stable character who didn't get into massive fights, lawsuits or just general drama (apart from that time she got caught in the on-call room...). All Miranda had to do was give the other characters 'that look' to let them know exactly what she was thinking. You know the one... via GIPHY Character high point: When she continued to help a dying child after finding out George had died. What. A. Hero. 1. Cristina Yang Cristina was a stone cold bad-ass. The women was an inspiration to us all. No matter what the situation she always kept her shit together and powered through. The show saw her have some really hard times but despite that she was always completely driven and hard-working. Cristina always says it like it is and was an unreal best friend to Meredith.
