Speaking about the possibility of a sequel, Flynn said:
“There could be a sequel at some point if everyone is game to get the gang back together, it could be really fun a few years from now to pick it up and see what those crazy Dunnes are up to a few years down the road and if they got on — not well I don’t think.”
The author also has strict conditions for doing a follow-up piece, including keeping the original cast who starred in the first instalment:
“I would have to have the exact same people to do it — I would want Rosamund [Pike], Ben [Affleck] and [David] Fincher to do it.”
If you’re hoping for a release date anytime soon though, you could be disappointed.
