Gilmore Girls made Lauren Graham a household name and one of our generation's most beloved actresses.

The series went on for seven seasons with a successful Netflix spin-off, but could we be in store for more Gilmore Girls?

It looks like Amy Sherman-Palladino is hoping to work with Lauren Graham again, whether that's on Gilmore Girls or a completely new project.

She told Entertainment Weekly: "I want to work with Lauren so badly. Now, all we do is have lunch together, and as much as I enjoy having spicy Bloody Marys with her at noon -- which is very enjoyable -- I would really love to get back in the ring with her again."

The writer was hoping to get Lauren Graham in an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel but her schedule was just too busy.

She said: "Lauren is extraordinarily busy. She was ice skating and writing books, and she's got a whole world going on... It just didn't come to pass. But I still have Graham stars in my eyes."

We'd love to see Lauren Graham reprise her role as Lorelai Gilmore, but wouldn't it be great to see her star in a new project?

Plus, if it's written by Amy Sherman-Palladino, then it's bound to be a major success.

The woman is behind two of the most incredible shows- Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel- so we already can't wait to see what else is up her sleeve.

Lauren Graham has been focusing on her career as a writer. The actress penned a best-selling nonfiction read called Have I Told You This Already? in 2022.

The show does turn 25 this year, so it would be pretty special to return in time for such a big milestone.
