Twitter came ablaze last night with hilarious tweets about the live show slip-up by EastEnders star Jo Joyner, but the tweet of the night came from comedian David Schneider.
With half of the country commenting on the fact that Jo called character Ian Beale by his actual name (Adam), David Schneider revealed to his followers that he had gotten his hands on a “quick rewrite” for tonight’s show.

His clever tweet was subsequently retweeted by EastEnders star Jake Wood, much to the delight of his loyal followers, while Danny Dyer also got involved in the joke.
