We can’t wait for this!
So we’re obviously all really excited for the new season of Game of Thrones, which should hit our screens in April.
However, we’re also super excited about the prequel that is set for creation.
The show will be set thousands of years before the events that we’ve already witnessed onscreen.
So no Jon Snow and Cersai… we’re taking it back, way back.
In fact, the prequel for Game of Thrones has announced its cast, and there are a number of familiar faces.
Naoimi Watts was confirmed for the show a while back, but yesterday a number of other actors were confirmed.
Jamie Campbell, who you’ll recognise from in Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Twilight, has been cast in the GOT prequel.
YES HONEY!
One of our faves, Toby Regbo, has also been added to the series.
Toby starred in the period drama, Reign, where he played the king of France, so he’s no stranger to thrones.
The lovely Josh Whitehouse, best known for his role in Poldark, will also make an appearance in the prequel.
23-year-old Georgie Henley, from Disney’s Narnia films, has also been added to the cast!
No other information about the prequel has been released, but we’ll keep you posted.
