Frocks, Frogs And Family – The Best Of Tonight’s TV

There's plenty of reasons to stay in tonight.

It’s Thursday night, the weekend is nearly here but you may need some really good shows to get you through to Friday. Don’t worry, there is plenty to see on the box tonight.

1. Who Do You Think You Are? BBC One, 9pm.

Our very own comedian Brendan O’Carroll, best known as his alter ego Mrs Brown and star of the BBC sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, tries to find out the truth about his grandfather’s murder, and attempts to uncover the identities of the men responsible. We’re really looking forward to this one.

2. Natural World: Attenborough’s Fabulous Frogs, BBC Two, 9pm.

Well, you may need to set those recorders because the King of the Nature Documentary is on at the same time as Who Do You Think You Are? and this time he is looking into the amazing world of the frog.

3. Prom Crazy: Frocks and Ferraris, UTV, 9pm.

You may think that the Prom is most definitely an American trend but not so according to this documentary that focuses on Essex and Sussex schools which focuses on four youngsters preparing for the big night.

4. Stammer School: Musharaf Finds His Voice, Channel 4, 9pm.

This documentary follows struggling stammerers as they enrol on an intensive four-day course to conquer their speech impediment. The programme features Musharaf Asghar, who viewers may recognise from Educating Yorkshire.

5. Zombieland, Film4, 9pm.

Definitely one of the best Bill Murray cameos, this film is just unbelievable amounts of good fun. It’s your typical zombie attack movie but this time there’s Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone!
