Former X Factor finalist makes a pretty shocking claim about the show

We hope this isn't true.

Remember Marcus?

In 2011 X Factor saw girl band Little Mix win the competition, and Marcus Collins came second.

Marcus was mentored by Gary Barlow and was a firm fan favourite at the time.

We went on to release an album after the show ended, with hits such as covers of Duffy’s Mercy and the White Stripe’s Seven Nation Army. He has since starred in musicals such as Hairspray and Kinky boots but hasn’t said much about his time on the show, until now.

On Thursday, he posted a picture to Instagram of himself and Gary Barlow at the final of the show.  In the caption, he seemed to be throwing some serious shade at the show implying that it is fixed.

The caption reads:

“That arkward moment when you’ve already been told something and have to pretend you don’t know and are hearing it for the first time (sic)”

Although he didn’t clarify what exactly he had “already been told” Instagram users were quick to assume that it was referring to the results of the show.

“Wait…you guys know who’s gonna win beforehand?!?!” One person said.

“Nooooooo. Is that true?? You should do a ‘tell all book'” Another said
