Lauren Platt has spoken out about appearing on the latest series of The X Factor.
The singer, who is currently preparing for the live tour, admitted that she loved being a part of the show despite the fact that it was hectic.
She told Digital Spy: “It was everything I expected and more. It was very intense, don’t get me wrong. A lot of us were tired. I expected everyone to get a lot rattier, but everyone kept their cool.
“We all remembered why we were there. It was very intense, but there is no experience like it. I can imagine anything I do from now on, won’t compare to X Factor. It was really amazing.”
Lauren Platt did well on the series.
However the 16-year-old did say that not everyone has what it takes and that the competition isn’t for every aspiring pop star.
“Definitely. I would advise them to (take part), but my advice would be that the show isn’t for everyone. In my opinion, a lot of people that are on the show don’t have the X Factor.
“As far as I’m concerned, Ben had the X Factor – it was almost like the show was built for Ben. This is why I think it was so great that he won, because I think he was a winner that really did deserve it and he’s going to do something with it.
“The show is not going to be for everyone. I was lucky because I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, but I’d advise people to try it. There’s no harm in that at all.”
