J.J. Abrams delivered a special message for Star Wars fans today, May 21st, in aid of the Force for Change program, a brand new Star Wars initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm, in collaboration with Bad Robot, which will aim to raise funds and awareness for UNICEF’s Innovation Labs and its innovative projects benefitting children in need.
The project is offering fans the unique opportunity to actually visit the Star Wars set in Pinewood studios and even appear in the film.
All fans have to do is donate through the Star Wars page. Various items, depending on how expensive they are, will guarantee a certain amount of entries for the main prize but they will also provide funds for this great project.
On top of that, we get a slight glimpse of a Star Wars character and the set. Good times J.J.!
