It's looking like a good one.

Dare I say it, summer 2020 is already shaping up to be a good one.

From the announcement of Life Festival’s headliners earlier this week to now, Forbidden Fruit’s addition of a whole host of new acts – it looks like a summer of dancing in fields to great music is approaching and we couldn’t be happier.

To celebrate “10 years of the Fruit”, Forbidden Fruit is making sure their 10th birthday is a bash we won’t forget and yesterday, the festival announced the following acts for the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31.

Saturday 30th:

JORJA SMITH

PEGGY GOU // LOYLE CARNER

FATIMA YAMAHA

Sunday 31st:

UNDERWORLD

HOT CHIP

THE MURDER CAPITAL  // THE AVALANCHES

This will be Jorja Smith’s first year performing at the festival. Since bursting on to the scene, the Brit Award winning artist’s debut record Lost & Found was released to critical acclaim – and she has since collaborated with the likes of Drake, Burna Boy and AJ Tracey.

Aside from that, other names to note are Peggy Gou, Loyle Carner and Underworld – all of who are performing over the weekend. The Forbidden Fruit stage is a familiar place to Peggy Gou and Underworld who have previously played the sold-out festival but for Loyle Carner it’s going to be a first.
