She’s going to be a part of a very important storyline.
The first look at Grey’s Anatomy’s mid-season premiere is here – and with it, a glimpse of former One Tree Hill star Bethany Joy Lenz’s character.
The actress confirmed that she would be joining the long-running medical drama late last year, but there hasn’t been many details about her role.
The final moments of the winter finale saw Jo’s abusive husband Paul arrive uninvited at Grey Sloan Memorial.
And based on her brief appearance at 11 seconds into the teaser, it looks like the One Tree Hill alumni will be joining him.

According to TV Line, the actress will be playing Jenny, the fiancée of Jo’s abusive estranged husband Paul.
She will make her first appearance in the episode scheduled to air in the United States on Thursday night, 1-800-799-7233.
Jo has gone to great lengths over rate years to keep her identity hidden from her husband Paul, played by Glee’s Matthew Morrison.
In fact, she’s gone as far to say that she was convinced if she ever saw him again, he would kill her.
In the most recent episodes, Jo has been weighing her legal options and finally started to become okay with the idea of filing divorce.
And while it would allow her to move on once and for all, it also opened the door to having to face Paul once again.
The situation arised much sooner than she ever thought, after he showed up at Grey Sloan Memorial in the final moments of the winter finale.
And with his arrival, he’s bringing his fiancée Jenny.
It isn’t immediately clear if Lenz’s character knows exactly who Jo is when they meet, or if she knows about Paul’s history of abuse.
Paul is seemingly a hit with the other doctors after his arrival at the hospital, with the photos in the episode showing him getting along with Arizona.
