The first images of the new Sabrina on Netflix are here… and it’s just NOT the same

We won't settle for it.

Right lads, we'll admit that we're weak for some reboots. Yes, some shows and movies deserve another lease on life, and while they might not live up, we appreciate the effort. However, we're just not OK with this. When Netflix announced that they were releasing a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch but with a dark twist, we will say we were intrigued. With the man behind Riverdale (one of our favourites) on board, we thought we were onto a sure thing. However, with the first images of the new series having just been released, we're unsure how we feel. Yes, Netflix has just dropped the first pictures Kiernan Shipka in her role as Sabrina Spellman and it just looks so different. When they said dark, they meant dark. Speaking of the upcoming show, Netflix says:

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. "Tonally in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, this adaption finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature - half witch, half mortal - while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."

Hmmm, OK. We just don't know. This doesn't look like the fun and games we knew and loved about the OG series.
