First Dates is a good show.
It’s funny, it’s nice, it’s interesting to see what kind of people demand to pay for entire meals and who is happy enough to live in 2019 and just split the bill.
It’s also very enjoyable to watch people have a nice time, have a bit of a kiss, and maybe even fall in love.
Good for them.
A few of those people are Elan and Cindy from the UK version of the show. Back in 2017, they met in the iconic restaurant and instantly hit it off.
And now they’ve just gotten engaged. Fair play to them.

The pair announced their happy news via the First Dates social media pages today, saying that they were, of course only delighted to be a part of a happy and stable coupling.
“Hey guys, we’ve got some exciting news for you,” they said, “we’re engaged! “We’re absolutely on cloud nine, thank you First Dates.”
Cute.
The clip also showed the programme’s barman and restaurant host congratulating the couple and no doubt securing themselves a cheeky invite to the wedding.

Elan and Cindy got on like a house on fire back in 2017 when they hit it off over food, drinks, and a bit of stellar chat.
They then had their second date in Manchester and have been together ever since.
