Mulder and Scully are back and we finally know where to watch them in Ireland. RTÉ2 have announced that they will be broadcasting the new series of The X-Files. 13 years since the original series, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are reprising their roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
RTÉ2 will begin showing The X-Files on Tuesday 26 January, just two days after the first episode airs in the United States.
While confirming the news, RTÉ2 Channel Controller, Bill Malone said: “RTÉ2 is delighted to be showing the new series of the phenomenon that is The X-Files. It’s been a long wait for fans of Mulder and Scully and the first episode on 26 January will be appointment viewing.”
