Tv3 has finally revealed the launch date for their new show, Blind Date. It will be airing for the first time on Sunday, October 8th at 9pm.

With Ireland’s newest matchmaker Al Porter fronting the show, it’s sure to take over your Sunday night TV. It will follow the format of the show we all loved in the ’90s, and will aim to match up singletons before they get to see each other in person.

With three questions, guys and girls will have to pick a match based on personality alone. And, it will happen behind the famous Blind Date screen.

Al has previously said that he feels the show isn’t like other dating show on TV, with the contestants genuinely looking for love. He also said that it a funny, family friendly show.

Filming for the show took place over the summer and wrapped sometime in August. We’re very excited to see how it turns out.
