Fans think Davina McCall is being lined up to replace Ant McPartlin after her appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway yesterday. Davina appeared alongside Dec for a segment called 'This Time Next Takeaway'. The segment saw Declan surprise a woman named Diana with a load of treats from her family and it went down well with viewers. Following the 50-year-old, former Big Brother presenter's appearance, fans took to social media to voice their approval of her taking on a more long-term role on the show.

One fan tweeted: "It’s Davina and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway by the look of things! Dec and Davina I’m in tears.

"Ah yes, I love that show called Davina and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway."

Another added: "Great show Dec! Of course, Ant was missed and wish him well soon… but you did great.
