There’s some good news for TV fans this week as it looks like a third season of The Fall could be coming our way.
According to reports, series creator Allan Cubitt has hinted that another season of the hit Belfast thriller is in the pipeline.
“I can’t answer that at the moment but it’s a situation where I’m very confident there will be a third season,” he said at the annual Television Critics Association conference in the States recently.
“But because of internal BBC situation at the moment it hasn’t been officially announced,” he continued. “I think the story can continue, but I’ll have to reserve judgement on that, I think, until I get the green light and the go-ahead.”
However, it remains to be seen if Jamie Dornan’s character will return to the show.
Late last year in an interview with Digital Spy Dornan revealed that he might not be part of a third season.
“I’m not sure I’d be involved in it, for story reasons,” he stated.
