Everyone is saying the same thing about last night’s Love Island

Love Island has returned, and our evenings are fully booked

Love Island is officially back, and our evenings are now dedicated to reality TV.

We often lie to ourselves and say we won’t get addicted to the show every summer, but of course, we were glued to the sofa at 9 pm last night.

Maya Jama returned with a host of new islanders hoping to find love (and their own Pretty Little Thing collection).

As excited as fans were to see the show return, many of them had the same complaint about the new season.

Many viewers said the show has lost its spark, with many admitting they couldn’t get through the first episode.

One fan wrote, “bombshell on night one… oh love island UK just pack it up now.”

Another added, “ngl love island uk really gonna have to show me something for me to tune in this year idk.”

“Love Island UK lost me halfway through the first episode, and I can’t,” another added.

“Love Island UK has been the worst for a while now. It’s time to wrap it up, it feels like we are beating a dead horse.”

Last night saw Maya Jama return to the villa to host the long-running reality show.

12 brand new singletons all looking to find ‘the one’ were revealed during last night’s episode

The girls – Shakira, Meg, Alima, Sophie, Megan, and Helena – entered the stunning Mallorcan Villa first and got to know one another.

Maya then made a big announcement, which shocked the girls.

“This year, things are slightly different. You’ve told me what your type on paper is, but does that match your ideal man in reality? Come and join me by the pool.”

The boys’ dating profiles are revealed, and each girl must pick the one that suits her best.

After discussing the profiles and trying to work out who might be right for them, Maya counts to three, and they must run to a heart. Only one girl was allowed to stand by each heart.

With only seconds to make a decision, will they all get the boy they wanted? Or will the girls be left eager to swap?

Now it’s over to the boys. Decisions made, they enter the Villa one-by-one to meet their match…will it be love at first write or were the girls too quick to judge their type?

Are you watching Love Island this year?
