Everyone fell in love with Erinna on First Dates Ireland last night

And we can see why.

Another week and another group of potential lovebirds took their seats in the First Dates restaurant and last night was the turn of Erinna. The 39-year-old decided to apply for the show after the tragic loss of her brother five years ago and revealed that this was her first date in over 16 years. Erinna, who hails from Killarney in Co Kerry, appeared on last night’s show and was paired with 40-year-old Keith from Waterford. Telling Keith about why she decided to join the show, Erinna spoke honestly about the loss of her brother, saying: “Losing him was devastating. I kind of collapsed in on myself for a couple of years. I only realised I was coming out of it when I started feeling happy again about a year ago. “I’m trying to do as much stuff as I can and now I’m going out and trying to find a life partner, a friend, someone to cuddle on the sofa with and watch Netflix, someone to go on adventures with, someone to high five every morning.” The pair seemed to match up perfectly with what they each described as their ideal date. Erinna admitting she has a soft spot for manly men with red hair and Keith revealing that, as a shy person, he would love to be paired with someone who could comfortably make conversation.

However, it was Erinna’s candid story of an embarrassing experience on a previous first date that won Keith (and certainly viewers) over. Yes, Erinna did what few else would be brave enough to do - she told a fart story on a first date - and we love her all the more for it.

Sadly, however, while the pair decided to go on a second date, a later catch-up with Erinna seems to suggest she is now seeing someone else.
