No seriously, please stop.
The mannequin challenge is like the modern day chainmail, at first it’s entertaining and fun to take part in, but it soon becomes a tedious bore.
All around the world people have been partaking in the challenge that requires a room full of people to remain motionless while someone pans with a camera.
It’s getting old but with any luck, this star-studded one will act as the penultimate clip and inspire others to just quit it.
Last night, while we were all tucked up in bed, Ellen was receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the White House.
It’s nearly 20 years since Ellen publicly came out and Obama celebrated her bravery in doing so, saluting her courage and just how big an impact it had for the LGBT community in the United States.
Basketball legends Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hollywood royalty Tom Hanks and Robert De Niro and Bill Gates and his wife Melinda were also honoured on the day.
So naturally, Ellen managed to get them all to participate in the mannequin challenge.

It features the awardees and attendants and is in the White House.
So yeah, you probably can’t beat that.
So stop.
Please.
