Noooooo.
Emmerdale fans were left heartbroken on Tuesday night when soap bosses appeared to kill of the Dingle family’s dog, Alfie.
The beloved pooch collapsed at the end of the episode as Lisa and Zak were arguing about if they should sell up their home to developers or stay in their home.
The family first began to worry about Alfie last week after he stopped eating his food.
And in the final moments of the episode, things weren’t looking good for Alfie, as he wandered around from the family home before collapsing.
Lisa ran towards the much-loved dog screaming, and fans were heartbroken over the idea that Alfie could be being written out of the soap.
Viewers took to social media after the episode to voice their upset over the situation, pleading with the show bosses to keep Alfie on the show.

The Dingle family dog has had a number of health scares throughout his life.
In 2010, he was poisoned in a shocking storyline after chemicals started to get into the ground near the Dingles’ land.
And just a few months ago in May, he was accidentally run over by Zak.
Alfie was later rescued by Lachlan White, and eventually got emergency surgery by the vet.
Show bosses have not yet weighed in on if it really is the end for the Dingle family dog, but previews for upcoming episodes hint at holiday heartache for the family.
