Ed Westwick’s new role is giving us ALL the Chuck Bass vibes

Is Chuck Bass back?

Nope, it just seems to be his new character. We all swooned over Ed Westwick on Gossip Girl and watched the series for years on end throughout our teens. It seemed like Ed took a break from acting since departing from GG, but now he's back and as suave and handsome as ever.

BBC's new drama, White Gold, sees the actor play a character from the 80s, and he vastly resembles the one and only Chuck Bass. However, there is a slight difference. Ed will play a salesman, which is very different from his high-flying lavish role on Gossip Girl. As well as that, we're going to get to hear the actor speak in his native accent as the series takes place in Essex, England.

White Gold has already been renewed for a second season, which will air in 2018, so you know this season has got to be good. Welcome back Chuck, or er... should we say Ed!
