Ed Sheeran has an unfortunate tattoo because of Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse Ronan tricked Ed Sheeran into getting a misspelled tattoo.

Saoirse joined Ed in Galway last week to film the video for his hit single Galway Girl. During the shoot, Saoirse was supposed to write 'Galway Girl' on Ed's arm for him to get it tattooed but, instead, she wrote 'Galway Grill'. He shared the story while on stage in Glasgow the other night. According to The Sun, he said:

"When we were filming it [the video] I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view. It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the p**s out of me — full on."

But he doesn't really seem to care, adding:

"I haven’t actually told anyone that yet. I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.”

In fairness, with the amount of tattoos he has on his arm it wouldn't even be obvious. At least he sees the funny side.
