Eastenders star Danny Dyer has said that Christmas in Walford will be explosive.
The actor, who plays Mick Carter on the popular show, has said that his character will take “insanity to a new level” when he finds out that his wife Linda was raped.
Linda has not told anyone that Dean Wicks attacked her but the storyline will come to a head at Christmas when Mick discovers that his nephew (who’s actually his brother) is responsible for hurting his wife.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Danny said: “The audience will know that the bomb is going to go off.
“But they’ll be asking themselves ‘How big is that bomb going to be?’ and let me tell you, it’s going to be nuclear. I take insanity to a new level. Justice is served. Beautifully.”
Between these scenes and the drama set to unfold on the Coronation Street cobbles, we’re going to be glued to the TV over the festive season.
