Their relationship has had its fair share of ups and downs but last night Lauren Branning and Peter Beale appeared to take a step towards a possible reconciliation.
Peter (Ben Hardy) told Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) that he is moving to New Zealand permanently and wants her to go with him.
In tonight’s episode he goes to Lucy’s grave to say his goodbyes. Lauren joins him there and the pair have a heart to heart during which Peter reveals that Bobby was the one who killed his sister.
Peter can’t stay in Walford after what happened to Lucy.
Lauren is then faced with a major dilemma about what to do next.
You’ll have to tune into BBC One at 7.30pm this evening to find out what happens but the fact that Jacqueline is currently on maternity leave suggests that Lauren does decide to go.
Peter of course seems certain to go after Ben revealed that he is leaving the soap and has already filmed his final scenes.
