EastEnders fans won’t recognise Alice Branning in her most recent Instagram post

From 2012 to 2013, Jasmyn Banks played the character Alice Branning on Albert Square, and if there was one thing she was known for, it was her signature hairdo – a blunt fringe and a bob. Naturally, in the time since, Jasmyn has changed quite a bit, but we hardly recognised her in her most recent Instagram post. Yes, the actress proved just how much of a difference a haircut can make when she revealed a whole new look to followers this week.

“Curly hair, don’t cair,” she captioned the post. “Loving my new barnet – the cut of dreams and I’m throwing my damn straighteners away.”

Jasmyn is loving her new look and so are her followers who flooded her comments with words of praise for the new look.

“OBSESSED! Can’t concentrate on anything thinking about how fabulous your hair is,” one follower commented.

We have to admit, Jasmyn's post has us reconsidering the use of our hot tools - just look at those curls! Jasmyn left EastEnders back in 2013 after she escaped a prison sentence for the death of Michael Moon.
