Details about EastEnders Christmas episodes have been revealed

EastEnders usually lines up an impressive Christmas storyline and this year it looks like they are moving in a very dark direction. The storyline could see the end of one of the longest-running characters. Apparently, Ian Beale is going to get targetted by Max Branning after his release from prison. Max was wrongfully imprisoned for the death of Ian's daughter Lucy, even though Ian knew his son Ben was the real murder. The storyline will see Max attempting to murder Ian in order to seek revenge. Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian, is one of the longest-serving actors on the soap. According to The Sun,

"Max becomes obsessed with revenge and that means wanting rid of Ian — but this time for good. It’s a classic old-school storyline that will leave the viewers on the edge of their seats. Ian has been top of Max’s list since he came out of prison."

They added:

"In the run up to Christmas Max is a man on the edge and takes matters in his own hands when he tries to kill Ian. How Max will try to finish him off is not clear yet, but the episodes are set to be gripping.”
