EastEnders Break Watershed. Twitter Goes Mad.

EastEnders caused quite the stir by breaking the 9.00pm watershed on Thursday night. During the episode Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson) called her brother Max Branning (Jake Wood) a “complete and utter b*****d.” Writer Daran Little took to Twitter to apologise to those who were offended by the line. (The tweet has since been deleted.) He said: "Sorry if Carol's choice of words offended anyone in tonight's Enders. First time in a soap I've been allowed to write that word."
