EastEnders Boss Hints at Stacey Branning Baby Twist

EastEnders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins has spoken out about Stacey Branning’s pregnancy news. The executive producer seemed to suggest to TV Soap (one of The Sun’s supplements) that there is going to be a twist in the storyline. Stacey and Martin are dating (image: BBC). As well as hinting that it will impact on the relationship between Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar), he implied that the baby’s father might not be Martin (James Bye). Dominic said: “The first story for us is how it puts a strain on your friendship if your best friend is pregnant and you’ve lost a baby, which I think is a very real story.” She shared a moment with Kush (image: BBC). He added: “Underneath that, you have also got the audience starting to realise that the baby may not be Martin’s.” Viewers will no doubt jump to the conclusion that Stacey shared more than a kiss with Shabnam’s fiancé Kush (Davood Ghadami).
