There’s never a dull moment on Albert Square.
Between the storyline that saw Paul Coker killed off in a surprise twist and Grant Michell’s return, there’s a lot to keep up with at the moment.
However, the soap’s producers have only gone and added another dramatic subplot with Aunt Babe set to be viciously attacked in scenes airing next week.
As fans of Eastenders will know, Aunt Babe has her fair share of enemies thanks to her double-crossing ways.
In recent months, she has been giving Len Coker a hard time by threatening to reveal his cross-dressing and she also had it in for Abi Branning by getting her to pretend she was pregnant with Ben Mitchell’s baby.
According to reports, Aunt Babe will be attacked and left for dead on the floor of the kitchen in the Queen Vic.
Whitney Dean and Linda Carter discover her lying lifeless on the floor and rush her to hospital but it has not yet been revealed whether she survives the brutal attack.
Apparently Les, Pam (Les’ wife), Abi and Claudette, close friend of the Cokers, are the prime suspects behind the attack but as always, this particular storyline is sure to have plenty of twists and turns.
The scenes are set to air from the beginning of next week, Monday 15th August, and it looks like this will be another major ‘Whodunnit’ plot for the popular soap.
Judging by the below tweets, Aunt Babe isn’t the most well-received character so it will be interesting to see how viewers react to this new development.
