The voting lines are already open.

Junior Eurovision is taking place tomorrow night [November 24], and Dublin teenager Anna Kearney is representing Ireland.

The 13-year-old – who has performed with The Rockettes on Broadway and played Annie at the National Concert Hall –  is hoping to win the competition with her song, Banshee.

The song was written by Niall Mooney, Fiachna O Bhraonáin, Anna Banks, Anna Kearney – and ahead of the competition, Anna told how the song was about overcoming adversity and fear with the help of loved ones and replying on our courage to help us through challenges in life.

“The Banshee is an Irish mythological spirit which is said to appear when someone we know is close to death, in my song she is a symbol of our worst fears and adversity,” she said. “We all have to face the Banshee from time to time and with courage and help from those who love us we can rise above. Love conquers all!”

The voting lines opened on Friday, and 50 per cent of the results rest in online voting.

To help Anna bring the Junior Eurovision to Ireland, cast your vote here – although better take note, you need to vote for three countries for your vote to be valid.

You can watch the music video for Banshee below.
