This is quite possibly the best news EVER for all you 90s kids out there.
They were the backdrop to our childhood from The Den to 2Phat and now it has been reported that Zig and Zag are set to make a television comeback.
The puppets, voiced by Ciaran Morrison and Mick O’Hara, have made brief appearances on TV in the last number of years, but according to reports, they will now feature in a new 26-episode animated series on RTÉjr next year.

The series is said to be a joint project between RTÉjr and CBBC and will be completed with Double Z Enterprises, Jam Media and Flickerpix.
