Disney have given the first look at the Lady and the Tramp live-action remake

Just LOOK at their little faces.

It feels like just about every Disney classic has gotten the remake treatment lately.

From Beauty and the Beast to Cinderella; the Jungle Book to Christopher Robin, many of Disney’s most beloved characters have gotten a big revamp on their return to the big screen.

And just in this year alone, we’ve seen The Lion King, Aladdin and Dumbo all hit cinemas.

Disney have unveiled the first look at their next remake, Lady and the Tramp – and the dogs are just adorable. 

The live action adaptation fo the 1955 animated movie of the same name is set to be released on Disney+, the company’s streaming service.

And in news that is sure to delight Disney fans, the 2019 Lady and the Tramp won’t be featuring CGI animals in the title roles.

Instead, they have cast actual good boys and girls (and they’re all rescue dogs, too, according to PEOPLE).

Here’s a look at all of the animal cast members from Lady and the Tramp. 

The title characters will be played by Monte and Rose.

According to PEOPLEMonte was rescued from a kill-shelter in New Mexico before he was transferred to a shelter in Arizona.

That’s where he as adopted by one of the animal trainers for the film. Tramp will be voiced by Justin Theroux.

Tessa Thompson will be voicing the role of Lady, the other half of the iconic canine couple. The part will be played by a Cocker Spaniel named Rose.

Sam Elliott will be playing Trusty, the wise bloodhound, with Ashley Jensen set to play the Scottish terrier Jock.

Janelle Monáe will play Peg, while Benedict Wong will voice Tramp’s bulldog friend, Bull.
