If you’re a Disney fan or even if you just watched the classics as a child, this fan theory might interest you.
It comes courtesy of Petite Tiaras, a Tumblr user, and it was brought to our attention by Refinery 29.
Hardcore Disney fans are sure to remember the Beauty and the Beast scene where Belle chats about her favourite book.
It goes something like “Far off places, daring swordfights, magic spells…a prince in disguise! Here’s where she meets Prince Charming, but she won’t discover him until chapter three”.
As Petite Tiaras points out, this description sounds an awful lot like the plot of Aladdin which is certainly something we NEVER noticed before.
Considering Beauty & The Beast was released in 1991 and Aladdin followed almost a year to the date, it’s pretty difficult not to buy into the theory.
