Rumours are rife that hit film Cruel Intentions could be returning to the screen, this time in the form of a television series.
According to Deadline, NBC could revisit the story which is filled with spoiled kids and lots of sex.
It seems the show will focus on Bash Casey, the son of Sebastian Valmont and Annette Hargrove – who were played by Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon in the 1999 movie.
Reese and Ryan starred in Cruel Intentions.
The teenager apparently discovers his father’s journal and then heads off to San Francisco’s Preparatory Academy to complete his scholarship.
Here he is exposed (we think probably in more ways than one) to the big bad world of “sex, money, power and corruption.”
