Half of everyone’s favourite defence team appeared on The Ray D’Arcy Show last night to chat about everything from his Irish heritage to his hurling trophy.
Dean Strang told Ray that the trophy, which appears in numerous scenes during Making a Murderer, was a gift from an Irish-American friend.
During the interview Ray asked point blankly does Dean believe Steven is innocent. His answer is laden with sadness. Viewers of the documentary will remember that during the series Dean hoped Steven was guilty as the thought of him in prison, wrongfully convicted, is something that brings him great heartbreak.
This is the sentiment he repeats to Ray and he even protests Stevens innocence further by sharing the fact that at no point did Steven confess or change his story.
