Eastenders star Danny Dyer recently appeared on ITV show Big Star’s Little Star with his daughter Sunnie.
The little girl accidentally let the cat out the bag about her father’s habit of calling in sick to work.
Host Stephen Mulhern asked Sunnie (7) what her dad’s biggest secret was to which she replied that he calls in sick and pretends he’s helping at home.
“Dad calls into work saying he can’t come in because he’s helping Mummy. But he just lays around on the sofa all day” said the little girl.
Danny laughed it off but added that he hoped the soap’s producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins wasn’t watching.
“I hope he’s not watching… I knew I should never have done this show” said the 37-year-old.
Big Star Little Star shows celebrities teaming up with their children/grandchildren to win £15,000 for charity.
The episode featuring Danny and Sunnie will air on March 18th.
