Dark Knight Rises Star to be the Next James Bond?

Top actor Tom Hardy has been tipped to be the next James Bond.

The actor, who's famous for his role as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, could be the next face to be the famous fictitious spy, according to a report by the Daily Star.

"Although Craig is signed up for the next two Bond films the search for his replacement is already on" said the newspaper’s source.

"Tom is right at the top of the wish list. He's been approached to gauge his interest and he's keen."

The source continued, "He's a respected actor with a great back catalogue of films but most importantly, he's the type of guy that all men want to be like and all women want to be with. He's perfect Bond material."

The actor has previously expressed interest in the role saying, "I'd love to play Bond, with Chris Nolan as director or something, it'd be awesome."

For now, Craig will be keeping on the persona so we’ll have to wait and see! The 24th Bond movie is set for a November 2015 release.
