A Coronation Street star is the latest person caught up in a sex tape scandal

Shayne Ward is the latest celebrity to be caught up in a sex tape scandal.

The Coronation Street star and former X Factor winner is said to be humiliated after a video surfaced of him online. It was shared initially on a Twitter account and went viral. Following on from that gifs and photos were made from the video which have also been shared online much to his embarrassment. A source told The Sun, "This video is years old. Shayne was single at the time and it happened when he was on tour with War of the Worlds. "He’s so embarrassed this has happened. The conversation between him and the supposed woman have left him hugely red faced. "He can’t believe anyone would do this. He thought it was a private chat and a one-off and only realised he had been catfished after the video emerged today." Shayne only announced recently that his partner, ex-Hollyoaks actress Sophie Austin, is expecting their first child. He is yet to comment on the video.
