Val truly outshone everyone else in last night’s Great British Bake Off

Oh VAL.

Last night saw the return of The Great British Bake Off, and its millions of fans were in instant heaven. Sure enough, people were having a LOT of fun getting to meet the contestants, spotting innuendo, lusting after Paul Hollywood and last but not least, falling in love with slightly batty contestant Val Stones. Val, a 66-year-old Ed Sheeran fan delighted everyone with her scatty-brained ways, making silly mistakes like forgetting to put sugar in the mixing bowl and listening to her cakes. Not leaving the unusual decisions there, Val also didn't know what a Jaffa cake was, decided to dance as she baked and she almost put cornflour into one of her cakes. GAS. People took to Twitter to share their love of the quirky primary school teacher.
